Working Student Security Engineering (f|m|d)
Your future role:
Main task will be software development using Java and Python (e.g. tools for requirements management, for security analysis, for functional security testing or for document generation).
- Crypto libraries and cryptographic methods such as RSA and elliptic curves
- Industrial software engineering tools for requirements management and software architecture analysis
- Providing Python scripting support for prototype development and flexible adaptation of tool components
- Creation and management of automated build systems (e.g. Jenkins)
- Use of SCM tools (e.g. Git), bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira) and test frameworks (e.g. JUnit, SWT-Bot)
- Creation, management and extension of Java-based Eclipse plug-ins
Your qualification:
- Basic knowledge of cryptographic procedures, IT security best practices, vulnerability analysis and protective measures against penetration attacks
- Java, C and Python programming skills
- Passion for agile software development (as part of a team)
- Ability to familiarise yourself with complex software systems
- Proficient in German and English (written and spoken)
- Keen interest in IT security topics, willingness to take up new challenges and subject areas
