What sounds like a simple sponsorship initiative has a personal story behind it: Philip Asmuth, now Team Lead Security Architecture & Evaluation at achelos, once held such a cheque in his own hands. In 2019, he was the award recipient. Managing Director Thomas Freitag is also familiar with the faculty: he completed his degree in Electrical Engineering there. “We know what it means to be at the beginning of a career. Philip Asmuth attended the event on behalf of achelos and presented Luca Henry Wasmuth with the award for the Master's thesis entitled “Spectral Theory of Transfer Operators for the Bilateral Shift”. Prior to this, Prof. Dr Peter Schreier, CEO of metamorphosis GmbH, delivered the keynote address.
