Modular components and support for your TI 2.0 connectivity

Development and integration require significant resources

With the future telematics infrastructure (TI 2.0), gematik is gradually establishing a new Zero Trust architecture as the foundation for secure digital healthcare services. This creates new requirements for providers of primary systems in terms of security, authentication and technical system connectivity.

With the planned rollout of the first TI 2.0 applications from 2026 onwards, organisations already face a clear need to prepare today.

One of the first applications based on this new architecture is the transition of the insured person master data management process (VSDM 2.0). In future, insurance data will no longer be verified exclusively via the electronic health card (eGK) but retrieved online directly from the primary system. Proof of Patient Presence (PoPP) provides the foundation for secure access to TI 2.0 services.

For vendors of practice management systems (PMS) and other primary systems, this means:

  • new technical interfaces and security mechanisms
  • integration of PoPP and Zero Trust components
  • adaptations to existing system architectures
  • increasing regulatory compliance requirements
  • significant development and integration efforts within tight timelines

The required development and integration activities demand considerable resources. At the same time, existing systems must remain stable, secure and compliant with specifications.

Modular support for integrating new TI 2.0 requirements

With the TI 2.0 Toolkit, achelos supports you in implementing VSDM 2.0, PoPP and Zero Trust securely and efficiently within the telematics infrastructure. The toolkit combines technical components for connecting to the Zero Trust infrastructure with modular service offerings.

This enables new TI 2.0 requirements to be integrated securely into existing system landscapes while supporting the targeted implementation of regulatory requirements.

Modular, flexible and easy to integrate

All modules are decoupled via clearly defined interfaces and can be integrated flexibly into existing primary systems. Individual components can be deployed and replaced as required.

This allows you to adapt the toolkit to your existing architecture – either as a complete solution or selectively for individual integration building blocks.

Technology partner

For the technical components of the toolkit, we work together with our partner tech@spree GmbH. The spree::connect modules form the technological foundation for VSDM 2.0, PoPP and Zero Trust within TI 2.0. achelos complements these components with consulting, integration, commissioning and support services.

TI expertise from numerous projects

The telematics infrastructure has been one of achelos’ core areas of expertise for almost 20 years. Our experience is based on numerous TI-related projects, our long-standing collaboration with gematik, and our current involvement in the Zero Trust environment of TI 2.0.

We would be pleased to discuss how VSDM 2.0, PoPP and Zero Trust can be integrated efficiently into your existing system landscape.
