With the future telematics infrastructure (TI 2.0), gematik is gradually establishing a new Zero Trust architecture as the foundation for secure digital healthcare services. This creates new requirements for healthcare software vendors in terms of security, authentication and technical connectivity.

One of the first applications based on this new architecture is the transition to VSDM 2.0. In future, insurance data will no longer be verified exclusively via the electronic health card (eGK) but retrieved online via the connected healthcare software system. Proof of Patient Presence (PoPP) provides the foundation for secure access to TI 2.0 services.

With the TI 2.0 Toolkit, achelos supports you in implementing VSDM 2.0, PoPP and Zero Trust securely and efficiently within the telematics infrastructure. The toolkit combines technical components for connecting to the Zero Trust infrastructure with modular service offerings.
This enables new TI 2.0 requirements to be integrated securely into existing system landscapes while supporting the targeted implementation of regulatory requirements.
Modular, flexible and easy to integrate
All modules are decoupled via clearly defined interfaces and can be integrated flexibly into existing primary healthcare systems. Individual components can be deployed and replaced as required.
This allows you to adapt the toolkit to your existing architecture – either as a complete solution or selectively for individual integration building blocks.

To turn the technological components into a solution tailored to your healthcare software landscape, achelos supports the entire integration process. We guide you from the business and technical assessment of the new TI 2.0 requirements through integration and quality assurance to commissioning and ongoing support.
Phase 1: Consulting & conceptual design
- Solution workshop & functional and technical assessment
Together, we analyse the new TI 2.0 requirements and create a shared understanding of the functional, technical and organisational implications.
- Analysis of the existing system landscape
We assess your existing architecture and identify relevant integration points, dependencies and adaptation needs.
- Assessment of relevant VSDM 2.0, PoPP and Zero Trust requirements
We help assess new specifications and requirements in order to prepare secure integration.
- Design of a suitable integration architecture
Based on the results, we develop an individual target architecture for integrating the TI 2.0 components into your existing healthcare software landscape.
Phase 2: Integration
We support the technical integration of the components into your healthcare software landscape. This includes coordinating and adapting the required interfaces and APIs, configuring the components and integrating them into existing test and operating environments. If required, we also support adaptations to CI/CD processes, system and integration testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation.
Phase 3: Commissioning & support
For commissioning, we support production-related testing, the final system checks and the completion of the technical documentation. During commissioning, we assist with issue analysis and resolution as well as coordination with the parties involved. Even after successful commissioning, we remain available for technical support, troubleshooting and any necessary adaptations resulting from changes to the gematik specification.
Phase 4: Optional services
In addition, we provide project support, technical coordination, documentation, test support and assistance with the preparation of conformity and acceptance processes.
